Solution The raw Codecs are: G.711 = 64K G.729 = 8K With IP and UDP headers for transport added the stream on the wire makes the packets approximately: G.711 = 85K G.729 = 32K Remember that you get a stream in each direction - so if you are on a G.711 call you will have a 85K up and 85K down RTP stream. Always give yourself some head room when calculating bandwidth requirements.
